Have you ever asked a songwriter how they come up with their songs? Had a moment when you found yourself singing what felt like a divinely inspired melody? Sing original Hasidic-style nigunim, harmonize together, and participate in vocal improvisation exercises to create new melodies. Seasoned nigunists, those curious about how to get started on writing music, and everyone else welcome!

Itai Gal

Itai  is a musician and Jewish educator and just recieved a Masters' in Jewish Education from Hebrew College. He is a resident organizer at Moishe Kavod Jewish Social Justice House and plays keyboard in his newly formed band, Klezmermaid.
