Whether they perceive themselves as having too little or too much, living beyond or below their means, upwardly or downwardly mobile from their upbringings, most people are uncomfortable talking about money.  Talk about why this taboo may or may not be useful in our current cultural situations and look at  texts about who the rabbis thought should have access to your financial information, what they looked for when determining how much should be spent on various items including tzedakah, and the legal contexts in which these matters arise.
